I started Wood Working and making Cutting Boards and Charcuterie Boards as a hobby. I have been in construction most of my life. It is rewarding taking Hardwoods and making it into something that is not only very pretty but also useful. Some of my favorite Hardwoods to work with are Maple, Walnut and Cherry. Choosing your lumber is an an art in it's self. When you have choosing your lumber to mill down that start's the process. Cut your Hardwood to desired size, mill and sand it down to a smooth finish. Whether your making a Cutting Board or Charcuterie Board or any Wood Working project as a gift or for your own use, it's important to take the time to make sure it is well constructed and durable.
